Atlantic Records Recording Artist Janelle Monáe released her video today (5/11) for her new single ‘Lipstick Lover.’ The singer announced her upcoming album ‘The Age of Pleasure,’ her first in five years, is due to hit stores on June 9th.
The single “Lipstick Lover” was produced by Nate “Rocket” Wonder and is quickly making friends at radio. The steamy video was directed by Monáe and Alan Ferguso and was produced by Alex P. Willson and Nandi George. The upcoming album is set to have 14 tracks and features Seun Kuti and Egypt 80 and the song ‘Float.’
