Singer, Songwriter and Producer Babyface reports he is on the road to recovery and wants the world to know that the infamous Instagram Live battle with Legendary Producer Teddy Riley and himself will take place. Babyface, who real name is Kenny Edmonds, celebrated his 62nd Birthday on Friday. He took to Instagram to thank his fans. “I would like to warmly thank everyone for all the many birthday wishes today” he said. He then spoke about the scary reality of COVID19 virus. “I tested positive for the COVID19 virus, as did my family. It’s an incredibly scary thing to go through my friends. I’m happy to report we have now tested negative and are on our way back to full health” he said on Instagram.

Babyface announced that he accepted the invitation from Swizz Beatz and Timbaland to participate with Teddy Riley in what he is calling a Celebration of Black Music Excellence in “Teddy vs Babyface.” Get ready for a night of groove and love. Ladies, put on your red dress; light the candles, pour some wine, and don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes. He then went on to say “Teddy! Let’s show them what Hip Hop/R&B Music really means to the world!”
